Platform - The platform is the core of the Federal Geospatial Platform and is how we provide our services. A modern platform is based on technology, content, and communities.

Technology

Technology is the capabilities driver of a platform delivering applications and enabling infrastructure to disseminate geospatial content and information.

Content

Geospatial content is the fuel that drives the platform. From raw map data, EO data, services, analytical products, Basemaps and a Living map of Canada.

Community

Communities  make sense of the content. They highlight what's important, and how it's used. A platform needs to enable communities.
